whoisUI: A GUI whois client for making both simple queries, and batch quering of hostlists, for curious sysadmins. whoisUI/bin/Release/whoisUI.exe Lastest windows binary Load a text file, with one host (IPv4 address or dns name) per line. Then the application will query each host and save it in memory. The user chooses what to display in the display. The display is a ListView, each row is a host, the leftmost comumn has the host itself, the rest of the columns are the user selected fieds. By clicking on the column headers, the rows will be sorted by that column. The user can also filter hosts, by the value of its fields. The querying process can be somewhat slow, whois servers ain't very fast, each query can take from 500ms to 2s. Be aware than at half of the querying process the server may cut you because of spamming ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Basic tab Here the user can make simple raw queries Advanced tab Load hostlist -> Load a text file, with one host (IPv4 address or dns name) per line.
